Windy Sunday!

Everything keeping its head down today except the Common toads breeding on the reserve which are in full swing.

Two pairs of Oystercatcher, a Firecrest and a pair of Shoveler being the highlights today.

550 Common gulls added to the cacophony of gulls out on the main lagoon today.

A Reed bunting was singing on wetlands discovery as were two Nuthatches at the woodland loop.

A female Blackbird is gathering nesting material outside the office window as I write and many more flowers are appearing around the reserve. This includes Red dead nettle, Celandine, Primrose and Coltsfoot.
