Explore the outdoors on the LEGO Brick Animal Trail this Christmas at WWT Arundel

The world’s favourite toy is back at Arundel Wetland Centre for the holiday season! The LEGO® Brick Animal trail is on display until Jan14, 2018 with eleven GIANT LEGO® brick model outdoors around the gorgeous wetland reserve including Kate the Kingfisher, Mac the Mallard and Natalie the Nene, the world’s rarest goose.  Following the trail around the grounds of Arundel Wetland Centre is a great way to get the family out for a winter walk after too much turkey and treats!

The kids will enjoy a ‘Make & Take’ sessions to build their very own LEGO® brick Freddy the Frog every weekend and holiday. Book space at these sessions online in advance for £5 per person. Book your general admission ticket online at wwt.org.uk/arundel and save 10% on your admission.

Adults can craft a gorgeous seasonal wreath from willow, ivy, laurel and bay at the Wreath workshop, 10am-noon on Sat 16 Dec. Call 01903 881530 to book this workshop for only £12 per person. Children can make cards, tree baubles and gift boxes at free craft drop-in each afternoon on Dec 21-23.

Bring your camera when you visit Arundel Wetland Centre this winter. Vibrant blue and orange kingfishers perch near the wildlife hides and its the best time to photograph ducks and geese with the low sun revealing textures and enhancing the colours of the birds. WWT Arundel is offering a Creative Photography workshop with wildlife photographer Robert Canis on January 29. It’s a great Christmas gift for the photographer in your life at £50 per person.

Arundel Wetland Centre is open every day, except Christmas Day and closes at 2 pm on Christmas Eve. The 26 hectare wetland reserve has paved, level pathways and sturdy wooden boardwalks. The boat rides and the wildlife hides are wheelchair accessible.
