Oriela Rasolomanana

Finance and Administration Officer (Madagascar)

About me

I have always been in the field of Administration and Finance since my university studies and my professional career. I hold a Master's degree in Management, Finance and Accounting, with 15 years of experience in financial management of emergency and development projects (NGO SAF/FJKM, Transparency International, Joint Advocacy Initiative for Disaster Risk Reduction in Madagascar) as Administrative and Financial Manager. I was therefore able to acquire a good knowledge of multi-donor and multi-partner procedures (European Union, Global funds, Presbyterian Church USA, French Development Agency). I am also interested in the preservation of nature for the well-being of Man, the protection of our health and that of our planet. By sharing WWT's values and vision, my professional experiences, as well as my work philosophy, contribute to the consolidation and development of WWT.

My role

My role within WWT Madagascar is to contribute to the implementation of the financial and administrative system of the organization while considering the existing administrative and financial procedures at the headquarters level and those of donors. My interventions are focused on bookkeeping, periodic financial reporting, procurement of goods and services, logistics and day-to-day management. I also assist in the selection of the organization's technical staff. During the donor-reporting period, I helped facilitate the financial reporting of project partners. In terms of budgeting, I work with the team to generate a forecast of operating expenses and activities for each quarter.
