Can You Spot the Spotted Flycatcher

We have had a spotted flycatcher being spotted along the Peter Scott Trail for the last few days and whitethroats have been seen down at Saltcot to add to our increasing tally of summer migrants. The grasshopper warbler is still singing well although the influx of sedge warblers are trying their hardest to drown him out! There is certainly more signs of nesting activity with the swallows and house martins starting to collect mud and we have had to close the Campbell Hide as a pied wagtail is sat on her nest in their. Today has seen the weather warm up and with it has come the chorus from the natterjack toads.
