It is time to say goodbye
After 40 years of service with WWT, I would like to inform you that I have decided that the time is right for him to take on a new challenge outside of the Trust and I will be leaving Martin Mere in April 2013. I joined the Trust in 1973 and have spent the last 5 years as Senior Operations Manager, steering the Centre through an exciting period including the development of new facilities and the acquisition of Langley Farm. The Trust has been a large part of my life for the last 40 years and I have enjoyed every minute of working for WWT. I feel that I have contributed a lot in that time, and taken the Centre as far as I can. It’s time for me to pursue a fresh opportunity and for the Centre to benefit from a new Manager. I will keep you informed as to the situation regarding my replacement at the centre as it develops over the next few months, but I am sure you will join me in wishing my replacement every success in the future.
