The Great Dragonfly Throwing Competition
Think you’ve got what it takes to get the highest score and win an ice cream for your whole family? Join us each day of the summer holidays (23 July until 31 August 2025) for our Dragonfly Throwing Competition!
At 2:30pm, pick up your three bean bags, aim them towards our lily pads, and see if you can dart your ‘dragonflies’ into the holes.
Our team will be on hand to count your scores. The highest scorer wins ice cream for the family from our Mere Side Cafe! (up to 2 adults and 2 children). The top five scorers will be displayed in our cafe.
The competition is 50p per entry, but you can also have a go at our practice zone for free before the competition starts.
Admission applies to non-members. Prebook online in advance to save 10% on admission tickets.
