Diversion due to local road closures
From Monday 2 March to Tuesday 3 March there will be a road closure along the A1101 between the villages of Upwell and Lakes End. Anyone approaching us from Wisbech/Peterborough direction are advised to travel via Dowham market. From Wednesday 4 March u

Bewick's by Richard Dunn This morning we had an early start with our penultimate swans awake event. Walking up to the Lyle and Friends hides gave the best views of the whooper and Bewick's swans waking up and flying

Daily sightings
Another lovely day out on the Ouse Washes today, there was a definite feeling of spring in the air with great crested grebes, coots and goldeneyes all displaying away. There's a lot of Bewick's and whoopers loafing about on the reserve during the day too

A beautiful day at WWT Welney today. Plenty of hares boxing in the sunshine. The day ended with a fantastic sunset lots of visitors enjoyed the swans flight in at Friend's hide this is the best place to see the Bewick's swans flying in. todays highlights
