Yellow-browed Warbler

A Yellow-browed Warbler was found early this morning feeding in willows just to the left of the South Lake Observatory and continued to show until dusk. Yellow-browed Warblers are a tiny leaf warbler that breeds in Siberia/China and only weigh about 4 grams. A small number make it to the east coast of the UK each autumn, but they are much rarer on this side of the country. This is only the 3rd record here at Slimbridge.
