WWT Slimbridge opening times
We're open 7 days a week, 364 days a year and there's always something to see and do!
Opening hours
April - Saturday 24th October (end of BST) | 9.30am - 5.30pm (last entry 4.30pm).
From Sunday 25th October 2026 - end of January | 9.30am - 4.30pm (last entry 3.30pm).
February and March | 9.30am - 5pm (last entry 4pm).
We're open every day except Christmas Day. On Christmas Eve we're open 9.30am - 3pm.
Dogs at Slimbridge
Unfortunately we can't allow dogs or pets of any kind on site, with the exception of trained assistance dogs, as our wildlife may become distressed.
Trained assistance dogs are welcome but must be kept on their lead and under control at all times. Please ensure any dog waste is removed. If any of our birds/animals behaviour is affected by the presence of your dog, we respectfully ask that you understand that we may have to ask you to move away from the area.
Please do not leave your dog in your car whilst visiting.
