A small group of several White fronted geese seen this morning, failed to reappear after being flushed, but, good numbers of pink footed geese. 1700 Whooper Swans continue to use the reserve everyday but no sign of any Bewick's since 26th December.

Birds of Prey seen today included a pair of Peregrine, 2 Marsh Harriers, the regular Hen Harrier and the usual Common Buzzard and Kestrel. Waders on site today included a single Dunlin, c3000 Lapwing and at least 20 Ruff.

Goldcrest and Treecreeper were seen along with good numbers of Tree Sparrow and Reed Bunting.
