A quieter day at the nest

Yesterday the female osprey spent the morning incubating her 2 eggs in a chilly North Easterly wind. her mate, male 08 flew in at 1.10pm with a fish which she took from him and flew to the tree nearby to eat it. He then took his turn sitting on the eggs for 2o minutes before she returned to take her place. He remained perched on the side of the nest for about 15 minutes before flying off. There was no sign of the intruder male, maybe 08 was successful in driving him off on Tuesday.
