A visit by West Lancashire Council
ACES (Association Chief Estate Surveyors) are here today to host a seminar in our lecture theatre. They are having a meeting and then I am doing a presentation to them based on the development of the canoe safari and the cafe in terms of problems we found during the building and a bit about the land management here. They will have some lunch and then hopefully go for a tour later, depending on weather of course, it isn't looking too good out there at the moment, in fact today is the first time we have closed the canoe safari since it opened as I do think that it can't run in weather conditions such as these.
Actually over the last two months we have had a considerable increase in the number of organisations coming to hire our lecture theatre for business use and it is an area we hope to develop further.
