Greenshank and other waders
Windy throughout the day with more signs of migration and perhaps some wind blown coastal birds. Waders to the fore with new birds in including Greenshank, 2 Avocet, 11 Ringed Plover and potentially 4 Bar-tailed Godwit which would be new for the year. Als

Weather changes
After all the warm weather it felt more like early Autumn this morning. This was enhanced by the presence of at least a dozen Sand martins busily feeding over the water in front of the Sand Martin Hide, occasionally flying close to the nest bank. Sighting

Little Egrets!
There has been two Little Egrets been spotted on Wader Lake. They are hanging around with the young herons at the front of the Heron Hedge. We have also have sightings of a pair of widgeon on the lake.
