Jack Snipe & Common Tern
A Jack Snipe was reported from Woodend Marsh today, at the far side, also 2 Dunlin and 2 Common Sandpiper here as well as 6+ Ruff including a breeding plumage male bird. Display flighting Little Ringed Plover over the Mere. At least 4 Mediterranean Gulls

Hares - The Easter Bunny
The 'Easter Hare' is a traditional symbol of Easter and our hares have been very rowdy on the reserve this week! The females can be seen boxing with the males; telling the males that they're not quite ready and running away reaching a top speed of 47mph!
