Canada Goose at Slimbridge by Ian Wade Holden Tower The Dumbles is still a very busy place, waders come and go during the day and the grass is green and lush for the grazing birds., the following has been noted today.

Short-eared Owl again
A Short-eared Owl was seen during the afternoon again, eventually giving good views from the Ron Barker Hide. Also at least 4 different Marsh Harrier, several Common Buzzard, a single Peregrine and a Merlin, as well as the usual Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.

Latest Sightings - 7th November - BBC de-rigging
The BBC are packing up and most of their equipment has already left the site. The reserve is starting to get back to 'normal' now. The tracks are very wet at the moment, so if you are coming down, please be prepared and wellies would be recommended. Today
