No sightings of the Spoonbill, Light bellied Brent Geese or Bittern during a quick hide round this morning or any reports from visitors by 1400hrs.

Holden Tower

The Dumbles is very busy, plenty of flooding on the pools.

Peregrine Falcon and Sparrowhawk.
Golden Plover 500, Dunlin 120, Lapwing 300 and single Redshank, numbers of waders fluctuate during the day as they move to and from the mudflats. Cranes- GCP project birds including the Slimbridge bred juvenile currently favour the salt pasture at the moment.
Greylag 300+, Canada Goose 400+ including the darker bird. The European White-fronted Geese were still scattered but present.

Tack Piece
Scrape levels gradually increasing.

50 Curlew, 200 Wigeon and 250 Teal.

Rushy Pen

About 700 wild birds present daily at the moment.

Bewick's Swan 8 (13 Slimbridge birds are currently at Blagdon Lake, Somerset)

Pochard, Tufted Duck, Pintail, Teal, Mallard, Shelduck and Coot in varying numbers.

Zeiss Hide

Snipe 6, Black-tailed Godwit 30, Teal 600, Wigeon 400 and Greylag 70.

Kingfisher Hide

Ruff 10, Lapwing 500, Wigeon 230, Curlew 30.
