Pectoral Sandpiper and Temmincks Stint
A Great Bird watch morning this morning. Waders showed very well on the Dumbles, high light of which was a juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper. Also 210 Dunlin, 40 Ringed Plover, 1 Golden plover, 1 Curlew Sandpiper, 4 Little Stint, 7 Sanderling and a Turnstone. A

Nuthatch
Bird of the day must go to the Nuthatch (a rare bird on site) which was on the bird table near the toilets past the Raines Hide this morning, hopefully it will stick around. A few new birds appeared today with the change in weather, at least 2 Greenshank

Osprey sightings!
We had a juvenile osprey hunting over the reserve on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week! The osprey over WWT Arundel snapped by Russell Tofts The buzzards and peregrines are showing above the hangar today.
