A brief up-date. The Little Gull is still present on the reserve generally from the United Utilities Hide although it has been seen in front of the Harrier Hide and on the Mere. Two Med Gull (ad + imm) again today. Two Whimbrel on the Mere late afternoon.

Latest Sightings
Barnacle Geese Most of the geese have now left the Solway, with the few that still remain on Rockcliffe Marsh on the Cumbria/Scotland border. On the high tides small numbers do fly to the reserve but these are usually less than 100. Whooper Pond Oystercat
