Wetlands in Bloom
Our Chief Ecologist Richard Bullock has just given me a list of plants currently in bloom around the Centre. He (and I) had often thought of spring flowers here being predominantly yellow and white, with the blues and purples appearing later in the year -

New ‘early bird’ events at WWT Martin Mere
WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre is launching ‘Early Bird’ walks in May to allow visitors a unique opportunity to watch the reserve spring to life at dawn. The Early Bird walks are taking place on Saturday 4 May and Saturday 22 June and start at 5.30am

Big Fall

Both birds on the nest today in the sunshine
