Developments update

We have a fantastic meeting all day yesterday based on forthcoming developments in the grounds this year. The aim is to completely redevelop the Australiasia area of the grounds and create new areas for birds such as magpie geese and cereopsis. This work will start in September and will make a complete difference to that area of the grounds. This is the first stage of a 10 year programme to completely redevelop the grounds. Once I have some designs later in June I will place them on this diary for your thoughts.
We are also looking at further development up by the canoe safari in terms of the birds we keep up there and the messages we want to get across - hopefully this should develop this year as well as we clarify the theme we want and organise when the development can take place.
The next 5 - 10 years is going to be a really exciting time at the centre as we continue to invest in new attractions, with the first one being the play area of 2 June.
