Sunshine at last on the nest
Today has been sunny but there is still a chilly wind from the west which has been ruffling the feathers of the birds on the nest. We saw the male bird come in this morning with a fish for his mate which she took off to eat as usual and he took his turn on the eggs. She came back a short time later and finished it off on the nest. She seemed to be having difficulty with a particularly stringy piece of fish skin. The images are excellent on the webcam and it is great to see the male and female taking turns on the eggs. Fingers crossed for a beetr outcome than last year.
