The search for canoes

I have spent an entertaining afternoon over in Warrington at a company looking at different styles of canoes for our new canoe safari attraction.
I went out with our Maintenance Manager, Pete Bullen who is also responsible for building and maintaining the canoe safari. It is important that we get the right type of canoes to ensure all health and safety requirements are met. Plus there is the additional requirements of life jackets as well as the size of the canoes will dictate the level of storage space required to house the canoes overnight.
We are still aiming to open the attraction on 11 April and I hope to confirm that date over the next few weeks and I will also put some pictures on this diary to give you a sneak preview of what the safari looks like.
In terms of the canoes we are looking for local businesses to sponsor a canoe. It costs £1000 for a 3 year sponsorship and the canoe will be branded with the company's logo - if anyone is interested or can recommend local businesses give the Centre a call on 01704 891220 and ask for Victoria and she will be able to give you all of the information you need.
