Trading meetings
I have been at Slimbridge for a series of trading meetings. Every 4 months the retail, catering and centre managers come together to discuss a variety of issues relating to training and share best practice. We discussed visual merchandising , brand standards, new products, including the WWT pin badges that have so far sold 3500. It is always good to get everyone together to share ideas.
Whilst I was at Slimbridge, I collected some Greater Flamingo eggs. Every year we do get a number of infertile eggs with the greater flamingos and to put fresh stock into the collection we replaced these eggs. Fingers crossed they will hatch very soon to go with the 6 chicks we already have.
