Nocturnal Nature Sessions
Perfect for home schoolers- a two hour session including owl pellet dissection, a boat ride and crafts with the Learning Team.
Perfect for home schoolers, this exclusive new event is available only during October.
Spend a two hour session with our Learning Team discovering the world of nocturnal nature! Then roam the reserve spotting wildlife, walking the reedbed and enjoying the play area!
Our Learning Team will assist you to:
- Dissect an owl pellet and discover what our resident barn owls have had for dinner
- Create a batty about bats masterpiece in a craft workshop
- Board a boat safari and find out all about our nocturnal nature and where they curl up to sleep during daylight hours
Then spend the rest of your day roaming the reserve!
Cost: £10 per child, The prices includes all day admission to the reserve, private room for your belongings and lunch if you wish, a free accompanying adult, a session leader and any equipment needed on the day.
Time: 10 am - 1 pm is the part of you day spent with the Learning Team, you may remain on site until we close at 4:30 pm
Suitable for: 7yrs-11yrs (KS2), , all children must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum one adult per child.
