From Monday 6 September, there is no requirement to book your visit with us in advance. If you would like to plan ahead and book your tickets you can still do so.

Spontaneous days out with WWT are back!

From Monday 6 September, there is no requirement to book your visit with us in advance.

Members - there is no need to book. Please bring your membership card with you. If you’ve already booked, don’t worry there is nothing for you to do. Just turn up any day you want and show your membership card at admissions.

Non-members - if you are not already a WWT member and would like to, you can still book your tickets in advance. If you’ve already booked, don’t worry there is nothing for you to do. Your booking is still valid so just turn up on the day you booked for and show your ticket at admissions.

Visit essentials

We know some things can make or break a visit so below are the things you've told us are most important to know before booking.

  • Cleaning - we’ve increased our cleaning regime, particularly our toilets. And we have plenty of hand sanitiser available around the site.
  • Food and drink – Cafe open 10am to 4pm. Limited seating indoors. Take away service also available and outdoor picnic tables available, just a few minutes walk from visitor centre.
  • Hand feeding – available and visitors can buy bags of healthy grain at admission. Please do not bring your own food for the birds.
  • Hides – open with restrictions - limited seating and mask must be worn inside.
  • Play areas – outdoor play areas open and cleaned regularly, soft play closed.
  • Toilets – open with restrictions - masks must be worn inside.
  • Mobility scooter hire – our mobility scooter is available to hire at a cost of £10 a day (plus £20 refundable deposit upon safe return). Please call 01554 741087 to reserve the scooter for your visit.
