Latest Sightings

There have been quite a few sightings at Janet Kear hide this week, including reed bunting, kingfisher, and our first siskin of the year. A couple of kingfishers have also been spotted at Ron Barker hide, as well as at Hale hide, where a lesser redpoll was seen too. There have also been sightings of a grey wagtail along the ditch leading up to Ron Barker hide.

Large flocks of lapwing have been seen flying over the mere recently, they are likely being spooked by our peregrine falcon, so keep an eye out if you see them all take off!
