Today's sightings-Mega migration
Well the weather was again perfect for visible migration today so a small group of us gathered at the South Finger. It soon became apparent that this was not going to be an ordinary day as a big number of birds were seen quite early on. So we set up camp and did a migration watch from 8.30am till 2pm. We were also joined by ITV West news who filmed a short bit for this evening’s news. Here are the results below (a total of 42,829 migrant birds).
