A break from the rain
It seems like a long time ago since we last had a sunny afternoon but today provided exactly that.
South Lake
The Avocet flock had increased to 32 by the afternoon and the Black-tailed Godwit flocks and two pairs Oystercatcher.
Tack Piece
134 Curlew, 56 Redshank, 16 Ruff, 28 Dunlin and 1308 Wigeon were among the birds noted here.
Rushy Hide
1 Bewick's Swan, 10 Snipe and the usual flocks of Pintail and Pochard.
