Avocets with young a first glimpse

The Avocets at the Holden Tower have hatched at least two young, these have left the nest and are being brooded by the parents in turn. The parents are also taking turns at brooding/incubating young/eggs still in the nest. Cranes-Four of the re-introduction birds from the Great Crane project are still on the Dumbles Lapwing- at least six pairs many with young are still on the Dumbles.
