Short-eared Owl & Spoonbill
A migrant Short-eared Owl flew high over the In Focus shop at 13.38 before settling in a distant field out on the reserve. Other raptors seen today were Marsh Harrier, 2 Peregrine, Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel. The Spoonbill and Little Egret

Sand Martins and Swallows

Trout for lunch
Our male osprey 08 brought in a good sized trout for lunch today. He landed on the nest to show his mate then flew to the tree nearby to eat the head. He then brought the rest back to the nest for the female. He was a bit reluctant to give it up but after
