Festival of Birds roundup and today's sightings
Festival of Birds Day 2
A huge thank you to all that visited, the weather turned in our favour and provided a great weekend of birding. At least two Bitterns showed from the Zeiss Hide on and off all day. The three Bean Geese also gave themselves up and showed all day along with the White-fronted Geese. With the thaw the waders returned to the floods. This included 65 Black-tailed Godwit, Spotted Redshank and 5 Ruff.
