Seabirds

A gusty day produced a few seabirds. Thanks to all for all the reports.

Kittiwake- small flocks passing through from 0900 to 1.30pm with at least five heading back downriver after. Largest flock was of c50.

Guillemot- one seen on the sands at low tide c1100 but flew off, one killed by large gulls off Tite's Point at midday, one appeared on the water at c1530 but disappeared in a squall, possibly the same seen in flight twice more including flying down channel past Tite's point.

Gannet-adult up river, rested on the water for a bit.

Little Gull- adult and 1st winter down channel
