Viewing difficult as we had dense fog until late morning. Plenty of Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Goldcrest and Cetti's Warbler were seen and heard around the site today.

Holden Tower

Little Owl- on the fence posts looking N from Holden Tower this afternoon.
Peregrine- one on Dumbles cross fence.
Marsh Harrier-one on the Dumbles this afternoon.
Buzzard-1
Wheatear NW corner of Tack Piece.
The Crane family were seen in flight here today.

Robbie Garnett Hide

Teal 210, Shoveler 10 and Ruddy Shelduck early morning only, may have flown into the collection area. 2 Great White Egret were here for 20 minutes this afternoon along with 4 Crane and a Little Egret. The egrets were also viewable from the Martin Smith hide

Zeiss Hide/Top New Piece

Semipalmated Sandpiper- views of the juvenile were hampered by heat haze, the bird was roosting among Dunlin and was usually hidden. Little Stint-2, Greenshank 8, Redshank 15, Black-tailed Godwit 5, Dunlin 70, Red Knot 1, Golden Plover 1, Lapwing 70.

South Lake

Black tailed Godwit 70, Lapwing 60, Teal 120, Pochard 6, Tufted Duck 70.
