The water levels are coming up in the field drawing in Wigeon, there were 250 there
this morning and were joined by 150 Teal. Several hundred Lapwing were scattered
across the field and were joined briefly by over 300 Golden Plover. A flock of Linnet from
an area of wild bird cover nearby are feeding in the center of the field. Over 300 were
there this morning.

Holden Tower

Whitefronted Geese were still at 33, bigger flocks of Canada, Barncle and Greylag
Geese were also present. The Peregrine was on its favorite perch and a Raven was on
the Dumbles edge. A Mistle Thrush seems to be holding territory on the Mistletoe clumps
near the tower.

Zeiss Hide

Great birding from here again. Teal around 1100, Wigeon 50, Shoveler 40. Waders were
good with 70 Black Tailed Godwit, 2 Ruff, 20 Redshank and 300 Dunlin.

Kinfisher Hide

A good mixture of Ducks here and a couple of Little Grebes but good views of a
Cettis Warbler stole the show. Small bird numbers around the feeders seemed good.
