Starling news!

Around 500 Starlings roosted in the grounds last night. This number is increasing daily, we hope it will reach 750,000 like it did a few years ago. As it gets colder in Eastern Europe we should see more and more starlings coming to the UK and us for the winter.

Ringing recovery

We have just recieved details of a Common Gull that was found here in June. It was ringed in Oronsay in Arygll 21 years ago!
