General
Plenty of first displays from various birds today, Coot slapping feet on or near nests plus nest construction. Male Shoveler display flighting over females, Shelduck gatherings near or on hides, Tufted Ducks males giggling, Lapwing tumbling display flight, Skylark singing, Greylag Geese looking for nest sites....lots of activity, a great time to watch the birds from the hides. Colder weather may be arriving later in the week so they may lose a bit of enthusiasm.
