Today's sightings-Festival of Birds-Day 1
Holden Tower
A very high tide flooded the Dumbles, this should produce some great birding as waders pick over the silt and duck utilise the floods. A dog appeared around the Holden Tower which caused disturbance for a while as it was chasing Roe Deer.
3000+ Golden Plover, 1000+ Dunlin and 6000+ Lapwing were highly mobile between the Top New Piece, Dumbles, Tack Piece and 100 Acre.
