Can be viewed distantly from the Zeiss or a little closer from the Kingfisher Hide. The Duck flock is increasing steadily, there were 116 Teal there this morning and 35 Shoveler, 40 Gadwall and a single Wigeon.

Great mixed wader flock here with 123 Black Tailed Godwit, 2 Ruff and 39 Redshank. The lake is busy with 40 Shoveler, lots of Tufted Duck with young and an adult and juvenile Great Crested Grebe.

Safaris

Both safaris were good yesterday with the Crane family being seen on both occasions, a good mix of Dragonflies and regulars such as Heron, Little Egret, Curlew and Shelduck. One small Grass Snake was seen. Poor weather today means we will only be running a single afternoon (2 pm) safari.
