Great Big Green Week is coming this June
WWT Arundel is holding two events as part of 2025 Great Big Green Week this June 7-15.
For the first time, the Town of Arundel is getting involved in this week of celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature organized by the Climate Coalition. WWT Arundel's contribution has been arranged by WWT Reserve Manager Suzi Lanaway, joining in with Greening Arundel's co-ordination of the event for the Town of Arundel.
As part of Great Big Green Week at WWT Arundel, you can attend a Dawn Chorus Walk on Mon 9 June, 5.30-7.30 am. Booking is online only, for £20 per person. We are also holding a Moth Morning event on Wed 11 June from 10 - 11.30 am for £15 per person with booking online. Our pond dipping sessions on Sat 14 and Sun 15 June, for £3 per group of 6, are under the the Great Big Green Week banner as well.
Arundel’s community, individuals and organisations are coming together to host an amazing range of events to celebrate, encourage and teach everyone how to play their part in nurturing our environment and its wildlife.
There is something for everyone, including a Community Litter Picks, a community day with a plastic-free picnic, a greener wardrobe workshop and more.
