Families are invited to enjoy a summer of colour, creativity and outdoor adventure as WWT, the wetland charity, brings Dragonfly Festival back to WWT Arundel this summer holiday.
Running from July 23-August 3, Dragonfly Festival celebrates the wonder of wetlands with a host of performances, activities and family fun inspired by one of nature’s most beautiful insects.
Visitors can start their colourful wetland adventure at the Dragonfly Festival hub in the visitor centre before darting off to explore the seasonal sights and sounds of the wetlands.
Families can enjoy music beside the water’s edge, creative dragonfly-themed craft workshops throughout the summer and more. Adventure calls with dragonfly safaris by boat or on foot, where visitors can track down dazzling dragonflies weaving across the sky.
Families can also uncover a kaleidoscope of minibeasts during pond dipping sessions, test their skill with giant outdoor games and discover the secret lives of dragonflies on guided walks with wetland experts.

From colourful face painting sessions and live music shows to arts and crafts workshops, Dragonfly Festival brings bursts of colour and energy to WWT Arundel throughout the summer holidays.
Dragonflies are among the wetlands’ most captivating species - agile aerial hunters with shimmering wings and extraordinary life cycles. The festival highlights their importance to healthy wetland ecosystems and the need to protect the habitats they depend on.
The Dragonfly Festival at WWT Arundel is included with admission and free to WWT members. Some craft workshops require pre-booking.
