We were fogged in until 2.30-2.45pm when it finally lifted revealing a sunny afternoon.

Holden Tower/Dumbles/Tack Piece

9 Great Crane Project Cranes on site including the new arrivals. Lots of interaction and displays.

Three Cranes arrive

New Cranes on site, MJMcGill

The Greylag and Canada Goose flock were feeding on the field but careful searching revealed 40+ White-fronted Geese and the adult Pink-footed Goose. A selection of waders were feeding on the flood pools also.

At the Holden Tower a Red Kite flew through, 2 Avocet roosted on the scrape islands and a Little Stint fed.
