A calmer day following the strong winds.

Warblers/migrants

20+ Willow Warbler, 12 Blackcap, 20+ Chiffchaff, 8+ Cetti's Warbler, 6 Sedge Warbler and 4 Reed Warbler all singing on site. Kingfisher Hide has all six species audible around the hide.
A roaming part of 40 Sand Martin have been feeding over the reserve all morning. A couple of Yellow Wagtail are in likely breeding areas and a male Wheatear noted.
Greenshank- 1 flew in and through the reserve.
Whimbrel- 4 on the estuary

Holden Tower

6 Kittiwake were resting on the sandbar mid channel among a few Herring Gulls to 0800-1100am at least.

Kingfisher attending nest bank again today, a pair were seen digging yesterday.
Willow, Sedge, Reed and Cetti's Warblers, Chiffchaff and Blackcap all singing.
