Top New Piece
Four Curlew Sandpiper, 10+ Ruff, 4 Spoonbills.
Middle Point
A Little Stint and 37 Avocet flew past at high tide with the Ringed Plovers.
South Finger Path/gate
Three Spotted Flycatcher on the perimeter fence.
Monday 8 September
Middle Point/Estuary Tower
100s small waders have been chased about by a juvenile Peregrine on the flood tide. 2 juvenile Curlew Sandpiper, Little Stint, 10 Sanderling among the Ringed Plover and Dunlin + 3 Bar-tailed Godwit (two breeding plumage males) with Curlew.

Three Greenshank, 5 Green Sandpiper, 100+ Teal.
Estuary Tower
At high tide, 400+ small waders on the saltmarsh, 212+ Curlew, Golden Plover heard, 15+ Yellow Wagtails following the cattle on the Dumbles, 2 Wheatear in the dry scrape, Whinchat on Middle Point fenc
Rushy Hide
At least two Garganey, 5 Red Knot, 6 Spotted Redshank, 10 Ruff and a few Snipe among the roosting Lapwings, Redshanks and Black-tailed Godwits.

Distant views of Wood Sandpiper mid morning. At least 51 Avocet over the high tide. Two juvenile Curlew Sandpiper, 4 Spoonbill, 12 Wigeon, 15 Ruff, 11 Avocet, 100s Teal, 100s of Greylag/Canada Geese.
