Monday 28 July

Tack Piece from Robbie Garnett Hide

Five Little-ringed Plover, Garganey, single Wood and Common Sandpiper, 17 Green Sandpiper, 4 Lapwing.

Summer Walkway

A dozen Yellow Wagtails with the cattle either side (Tack Piece/Dumbles) and a few warblers in the hedge.

Middle Point

Adult Turnstone, Common Sandpiper, 8 Oystercatcher, 1255 Black-headed Gull, 74 Dunlin, Spoonbill, 18 Little Egret, 5 Grey Heron, 10 Sanderling, 147 Curlew, 3 Cormorant, 109 Shelduck, Lapwing, 4 GBB Gull, 39 LBBG, 18 Herring Gull + 29 Carrion Crow at low tide. A drake Common Scoter drifted up on the tide and a Harbour Porpoise was off the point.

Four 4 Green Sandpiper, 26 Shelduck (23 juveniles), 19 Redshank, 88 Lapwing (including the partially leucistic bird), 3 male Ruff, 30 Sand Martin, Spoonbill.

South Lake

Tundra Bean Goose, 22 Avocet (9 juvs), 2 Green Sandpiper, 8+ Ruff, 150+ Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Spotted Redshank.
