Holden Tower/Tack Piece

Golden Plover, Dunlin and Lapwing flocks have fluctuated troughout the day. N counts made but plover species present in the many thousands, the Dunlin in hundreds. A very low high tide this afternoon meant that not all birds came in from the estuary.

Pink-footed Goose - adult with 31 White-fronted Geese on the Tack Piece but also visited Top New Piece and Dumbles with Greylag. The first winter bird was with Greylag on the Tack Piece and fields N of there.
