A flock of 146 Black-tailed Godwit toured the scrapes, 24+ Avocet could also be seen from many hides, 4 Redshank on the Top New Piece along with 2 Dunlin and a single Green Sandpiper on the Tack Piece. 30 or more Teal and lesser numbers of Shoveler also seen.

Migrants
2 White Wagtail, 3 Wheatear, male Whinchat and 120 Sand Martin noted today. Only the latter viewable from the hides. Larger numbers of Swallows also fed over sheltered parts of the reserve.
