Zeiss Hide/Top New Piece

Plenty of waders came in from the estuary over high tide, these included 90 Red Knot, 100+ Black-tailed Godwit, 50 Dunlin, 7 Ruff, 2 Spotted Redshank,  20 Redshank, 8 Greenshank, 10 Ringed Plover, 3 Little Stint and an apparent Semipalmated Sandpiper. The strong sunlight and heat haze was a problem here today, albeit a nice one! The tide is high at about 095ohrs tomorrow, this will be a good time to look for this bird again. A Kingfisher was present under the hide today as was Cetti's Warbler.

Holden Tower/Dumbles

Over high tide- Oystercatcher (not been recorded here for over a month), Avocet 1, Bar-tailed Godwit 2, Curlew 100, Grey Plover 8, Little Egret 10. A single Yellow Wagtail was noted today.
