Highlights today include
Zeiss Hide
Curlew Sandpiper in full breeding plumage with 18 Dunlin also in smart summer dress. Two Greenshank, a Black-tailed Godwit , pair of nesting Oystercatcher pair and Great Black-backed Gulls all on the Top New Piece flood.
The Bottom New Piece flood held a breeding plumaged Red Knot and male Ruff with a white ruff, three Redshank and a Greenshank. Also viewable from Kingfisher Hide.
Migrants
At 1355pm an Osprey was seen circling the Splatt area before heading off upriver toward Barrow Hill
