Rushy Pen

One common sandpiper, two lapwings, four green sandpipers, one ringed plover, one greenshank, one crane and three avocets with one very small chick.

Holden Tower and Tack Piece

From the Robbie Garnett hide there was one greenshank and two green sandpipers. Two cranes were in the distance and lots of swallows and house martins were flying around.

Zeiss Hide

A variety of waders; 51 redshank, 38 avocet, one knot, four dunlin, 86 lapwing, two green sandpiper, two oystercatcher, three ruff. And 27 teal and lots of reed warblers around.

South Lake Hides

18 avocets, 18 black-tailed godwits, four oystercatchers, 10 lapwing, 57 coot and the crane family.

Kingfisher Hide

No sign of the kingfishers this morning but there was a little grebe, reed buntings and two adult great spotted woodpeckers along with a juvenile.
