Our winter waders were putting on a great show this morning in the sunshine. Look out for flocks of Golden Plover, Lapwing, Dunlin, Curlew and Redshank, and see if you can spot anything rarer!

Kingfisher Hide
At least 23 Ruff were with the Lapwing flock in the Bottom New Piece this morning.

Zeiss Hide
At least four Little Stint were with the flock of 703 Dunlin on the Top New Piece. Also of note here were 359 Golden Plover, several hundred Lapwing and two Great Egret. A Grey Heron was stalking the small pools created in the reedbed rides and Water Rail was calling nearby.

Robbie Garnett Hide
The putative Todd's Canada Goose was on the Tack Piece this morning with the main Canada Goose flock. Waders included two Spotted Redshank, 20 Redshank, 15 Curlew, whilst a few Dunlin and the Golden Plover flock dropped in but moved to the Top New Piece. A pair of Cranes were feeding amongst the geese and several hundred Wigeon and Teal are also present with a few Shoveler and Pintail.

Rushy Hide
All 14 Bewick's Swans were present for this morning's feed.
